Project : Network coding for low-power sensor networks
Purpose Development of network coding algorithms suitable for low-power large-scale sensor networks
Contents - Interference management for sensor networks
- Relaying for networks with many nodes
- Development of network coding algorithm for lower-power sensor networks
- Development of network coding algorithm for nodes with high mobility
- Implementation of a large-scale sensor network testbed consisting of tens of nodes
Expected Contribution - Improved performance over conventional multi-hop routing
- Low power consumption and enhanced data throughput
- Application areas: large-scale sensor networks with battery-powered nodes, monitoring for large-scale structures, environment monitoring, sensor networks for military, and wearable sensors for collecting health data
