Project : Developing of Nanogenerators for Self-powered sensornode platform
Purpose The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the high performance flexible nanogenerators with power density of 50 mW/cm3 and output current over 1 mA by innovation of materials, structure, and process. That can be used for electrical power of sensor nodes with charging or replacing battery.
Contents Conventional flexible nanogenerator uses zinc oxide nanowires on plastic substrates to realize flexibility. In this project, the high efficiency flexible nanogenerator is realized by perovskite crystal structural nanomaterials of which piezoelectricity is 15 times greater than that of zinc oxide nanostructure. Piezoelectric film and nanocomposite materials are used for nanogenerator.

1) Development of high efficiency piezoelectric thinfilm materials
2) Developing of piezoelectric thinfilm transfer process on plastics
3) Development of high efficiency nanocomposite materials
4)Piezoelectric efficiency characterization of nanogeneator on plastic substrate
5) Securing device stability
6) Power supplying of sensor nodes using nanogenerator
Expected Contribution The large area transfer process and nanocomposite synthesis technology from this project are fusion technology of NT/IT, which would provide source technology, patents, and SCI papers. Moreover, the high-performance nanogenerator can be used for power source of sensor nodes.
